Graduated from the Faculty of Architecture in Zagreb in 1986. Visiting critic at HAB Weimar, ETSAB Barcelona, TU Wien, AA London, ETH Zürich, Strathclyde University of Glasgow, Politecnico di Milano, Southeast University of Nanjing and University of Calgary. Guest professor in Graz (1998), Ljubljana (1999+2010), Ferrara (2000), Aarhus (2005), Trieste (2006), EVDS Calgary (2009), UofT Toronto (2012-13), MIT Boston (2014), UVa Virginia (2016) and Pamplona (2017). Tenured professor at the TU Graz (2000-2005), at the FGAG Split (2007-) and ETSAM Madrid (2008-). Principal of njiric+ arhitekti d.o.o. in Zagreb. His works have been published in various journals and publications. Major ones: “Kalvarienguertel” (deSingel, Antwerp, 2001) and “Metabalcanico” (El Croquis 114(II), 2003), „10×10“ Phaidon (London 2000) and The Phaidon Atlas (London 2005), „A Peripheral Moment“ quadrigraph (2010) and „2G“ monograph (2011). Won several national and some international competitions. Shortlisted for the Mies Award 2009 (Kindergarten MB).
