The project’s reflection is rooted in an exploration of what it means to archive. A concept is articulated around the principles inspired by English gardens, where empty spaces are thoughtfully designed to provoke and stimulate imagination and memory. Our brain fills the voids left by the landscape with memories of the scenes it has just observed. The spaces of emptiness and reflection in our project invite visitors to remember objects, but more importantly, to create connections between them. The intersections between objects, professionals, visitors, stimulation, and reflections reach their pinnacle, presenting the concept we believe to be that of the contemporary archive.
