The main concept of Anna Kapranovas project “Geburtshaus St. Josef” is based on the idea that every pregnant woman is able to have her own birth house. These are introverted spaces which allow woman to concentrate on the process and not to be interrupted from the outside. The rounded roof shape made of curved CLT-panels emphasize the speciality of these particular units and their unique function both form the in- and the outside view.
